Danny Pickett paints with intense energy, vivacious colors and an eye for primal essence emanating from the core of his subjects. He uses acrylic paint to translate flowers, landscapes, buildings, animals and the human form into fantastic hyper-impressionist renderings on canvas. His goal is to show the energy of the subject through his color selection. Danny maintains a studio in Galveston, Texas and travels frequently to Southeast Asia, South America, Canada and Europe. For Danny, the experience of living on the Gulf Coast combined with frequent travel overseas inspires new approaches and subject matter. In the past eight years, he has sold over 275 original paintings to collectors from the United States, Mexico, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Kuwait and Thailand.
